The heights of great men reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight, but they while their companions slept were toiling upwards through the night.” Ms. Shana Spencer has embodied this poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow as her personal mantra for the betterment of all her business ventures. This has pushed her to work diligently at continually accomplishing all tasks that she sets out to do. When it comes to striking a balance between one’s ability to apply analytical and technical skills that are required for improving an organization’s internal processes, this is a primary part of Shana Spencer’s signature offering. She is differentiated by an uncommon complement of proficiency, aptitude and working knowledge in computer systems and Financial Software such as Peach Tree, ability to communicate well with persons at different levels within any organization, her attention to detail and her constant drive in being a driven and productive team player. All these qualities she possesses allow her to view a business with a wide lense, identify business drivers, understand complex issues, take action and drive results.
Having obtained a B.Sc. in Business Administration with a major in Accounting and Financial Management, an Associate degree in Accounting and Financial Management and a certificate in Supervisory Management at the University College of the Caribbean, along with her charismatic personality, this pits Ms Spencer as the best candidate for all accounting needs. She is currently the Senior Accountant at Kingston Industrial Garage however; she has held the position of Senior Accounting Clerk at two (2) reputable companies as well as Cashier and Customer Service Representative.
She is a driven, productive member of her community and is an active board member of the Lascelles Cooperate Credit member and the Jamaica Millennium Motoring Club, where she holds the position of Treasurer. Ms. Spencer is the 8th of eleven (11) siblings. She has always placed emphasis on family and as such has extended the same care and enthusiasm to her business. She’s an avid sports fan who enjoys participating in Corporate Walks and Runs; most importantly she loves new adventures. Her fun-loving, pleasant personality and charismatic energy encourages her to build and maintain meaningful relationships.
Nicay Burrell

Nicay Burrell is a Chartered Accountants, associate with over 20 years’ experience in finance operations in the: advertising, real estate and manufacturing sectors.
Ms. Burrell is driven by her personal dream to promote high expectations of self and lifelong learning with the vision to offer support to young persons within the accounting field.
Ms. Burrell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Northern Caribbean University and a Master of Science degree in Accounting from The University of the West Indies. She is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ).

MAA Financial Services is an organization geared at making loans accessible for the average person through an easy and hassle free process. The idea for MAA Financial Services was formed whilst in college, when I noticed how difficult it was for my loved ones to meet needs they had due to financial constraints. In an attempt to help them I started lending funds to my close friends and co-workers alike. Having realized that I was able to help these persons in addition to making sufficient funding for this on-going process, the ‘college dream’ of MAA Financial Services became reality. Since then the company has proven to be more than capable in meeting the needs of its clients and this has resulted in the longevity of the business throughout the years.
Some guiding principles of this Company are Integrity, Trust, Intuition, and Service. At MAA, it is our goal to meet the needs of our clients in a timely fashion whilst providing first-class customer service. MAA Financial Services provides loans for clients that require quick access to funds. These reasons include but are not limited to, loans for personal business and for emergencies. At MAA Financial Services, we offer small term loans, loans for medical bills, educational loans and same day loans. At MAA Financial services we do not believe in the generic loan process but instead we look at the specific needs, socio-economic status and financial viability of each client in order to customize the best loan agreement for them.
As CEO of MAA Financial Services Anadjua Mensah, my experience in the financial sector has always been centred on learning. At first, it was difficult applying what I learnt in college with what I wanted to offer my clients however, with time and experience I found the middle ground in bridging the gap between best practice financial principles and offering financial aid to those in need. Intuition plays a big role in our operations and what I’ve learnt is that, it’s best to follow your intuition coupled with being able to make the right decisions for my business and for my clients.
